Framing FAQ
1. What does it cost to have something framed?
When comes custom framing also comes custom pricing. Things that majorly factor in are size, material, and labor. Our designers on staff will work with you and your budget to ensure your item is framed right and with quality. When you are hanging artwork in your home or business, you are displaying it for everyone to see. We understand that these items are important to you and hold value. At the end of the day you want people to be amazed at the work they see, not only to draw attention to the piece itself, but say "wow, where do you get that framed?"
2. How long does it take?
A typical turn around time is approximately 2 weeks. This allows a steady and even production flow in our facility, and also allows us time to order any materials that are needed for the project. However, since all of our framing is done in house, and we do carry a lot of inventory, we have the flexibility and are capable of turning items around relatively quick if needed. Feel free to contact us for any rush jobs you may have.
3. What makes your framing different than other shops?
We are one of the largest farmers in the midwest, with growing locations and corporate clients, we strive for quality workmanship and offer a wider range of services than the rest. Many other frame shops cannot take in jobs that are too large, too rushed, or too odd. We have a large facility that carries inventory of many frame selections to choose from to allow for quicker turnaround times if need be. All in all, we are still a small locally owned family business serving the greater Chicago area for 40 years. Quality and expertise come first. We know and understand the business, all of our customers matter, and we want to provide quality framing for you that we would display in our homes as well.
4. Why should I frame my items?
There are many important aspects to framing that many don't know. Receiving good quality frames will last you a life time. Not only will it look beautiful, but they will protect your work. For instance, UV glass will prevent fading from harsh UV rays, solid wood frames to hold your piece securely and withstand for many years to come. Jerseys and clothing items are hand sewn into the board to ensure it will stay in place forever. As artists you've worked so long and hard on that piece of artwork, or perhaps you have some old photos in a shoebox that you want to preserve. Maybe you reached a milestone in your life and want to show off that college degree or certificate. Whatever it is, proudly display your work while protecting it
