Art Evaluations FAQ
What is included in the $25 evaluation fee?
Our evaluator on staff will examine your work and basically tell you "yes" there is worth or "no" there is no worth. He will explain where the piece came from, if it's a valued limited edition print, a knock off, or an original work. He can also determine the type of frame it's in, where it came from, and if there is any value.
What happens if my item has worth?
If your item has worth, you will have the option for the appraisal to do further research into the item to find legitimate documentation on the item. This process usually takes 1-3 hours and goes for $175/hr.
Do you buy art?
This is not really a "yes" or "no" answer for it is strictly a case-by-case. We do not buy art very often, but if we do, the item has to be in excellent condition and something we can likely hang for resale. For further questions, or if you'd like to send us photos of your artwork (and do not need an evaluation) feel free to contact us
